Linda Olson is a REALTOR®, GREEN, with D. Basile Real Estate, LLC in Melbourne, Florida. Linda specializes in all non-residential property types, especially vacant land throughout Brevard County. Linda has a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in Wildlife Management and a Master of Science degree from University of Florida in Ecology.
Linda obtained her real estate license in 2005 and brings a unique perspective to the real estate field as she also has 20 plus years of experience as an environmental consultant. This allows her to offer specialized services regarding the intricacies of developing/optimizing/selling and buying environmentally-challenged property. Linda also assists Landlords and Tenants with commercial property leasing.
During both Linda’s environmental and real estate careers, for more than 10 years, she was actively involved with the local Home Builders and Contractors Association allowing her to gain important contacts and insight into “green” building techniques for improving a home’s energy efficiency. Linda has been awarded NAR’s GREEN designation and uses these skills to effectively market and well Green/Energy-Efficient homes and to work with Buyer to find homes that match their “green” needs.
Since 2010, Linda has been a real estate continuing education course author and instructor in Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. Linda is also part of the Florida REALTORS® faculty, teaches classes through Georgia’s Partners in Education program, is a Tennessee Real Estate Commission approved class sponsor and course instructor and is approved by NAR to teach the 2-day Green Designation course and their Discovering Real Estate Course. Linda’s courses are centered around commercial real estate, environmental concerns, resource-efficiency, development, construction, and networking.
Linda is a member of the National and Florida Association of Realtors.
Linda is married and lives with her husband and rescued cats in Cocoa, Florida and Morganton, Georgia.
